I love apples any time of the year, but fall seems to be the time when I can’t get enough of them. The weather is starting to cool here a bit in the mornings, so naturally my mindset turns to autumn and apple picking.
Apple picking is something we’ve done as a family for the last couple of years. The kids love plucking the apples from the trees and I love taking photos of them throughout the orchard.
But, what do we do with all those (possibly too many) lovely apples? There are only so many sliced apples and peanut butter snacks the kids can eat before they get bored. I want to use them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert?
Thankfully, fall not only brings falling leaves and pumpkin everything, it also bring with it a gazillion apple recipes (both sweet and savory), that we won’t have a hard time deciding exactly what to make.
Whether you’re looking for a new apple butter recipe, apple crisp recipe, baked apple recipe, or something else all together, I am confident there is an seriously delicious dish on our list that you will just love too!
Which apple dish are you going to try first? Desserts are always my favorites, but that Apple, Cheddar, and Chicken Melt looks amazing!
