I used to dread New Year’s resolutions because my list always included a diet – denying myself foods that I love just to lose a few pounds. In recent years though, instead of starving myself, I will just make better, more mindful choices when deciding when and what to eat.
How many of you are making a resolution to make better choices when selecting your meals in the new year?

Did you raise your hand? If so, I’m here to tell you that making better food choices doesn’t define itself to grilled chicken and raw vegetables. There are so many more creative options – including unbelievably flavorful smoothies for any time of the day!
Smoothies. My husband and I love them! My kids love them! I’ve been making my “triplet famous” smoothies for all of us since the kids were babies. They are a fantastic way to add in fruits and veggies to your daily meal routine.
Banana smoothies are a favorite in our household. They can be made many mouthwatering ways. This recipe, though, is quite simple.
- 1 cup of fresh bananas
- 1/4 cup of milk (I use 2% cows milk)
- 1/2 cup of Greek God’s Greek yogurt Honey Vanilla Flavor
- Slice the banana and place in the blender.
- Pour milk into the blender.
- Add Greek God’s yogurt and add to blender.
- Blend everything until smooth.
- Add peanut butter to the mixture for more protein
- Add ice for a bit of a crunch
- Add a few dark chocolate chips
