Winter is (almost) here. I’m not ready for it to officially be the cold season yet. Are you? The older I get the colder I get. And warm bedding at night to keep me from freezing is the best. There’s almost nothing better than snuggling underneath a flannel comforter after a long day of cold toes and a cold nose.
Although the weather has been winterlike here for a bit now, I have yet to change over our bedding to a warm, comfy, cozy comforter. I have been shopping around and have narrowed it down to these six sets.

I’m obsessed with buffalo check right now. Not only is it so Christmas-y, but it’s also a great print for winter. Red and black is my favorite. Green and black comes in second.
I think the red and gray color scheme is so inviting. I could definitely see me and the hubs laying in bed watching too many episodes of Parks and Recreation underneath this set!
Red and navy blue go together like peas and carrots. These are classic colors that scream winter, but still, put off a warm feeling. The snowflake pillow included is a plus!
Every December my husband and I spend a few days in the mountains in a cabin. This gives me that cabin feeling that I love. And I love the buffalo check!
five | Eddie Bauer Alder Plaid Set
Again, red and gray. This is my front runner so far. It’s simple and pretty perfect. What do you think? Is this wintery plaid your style?
I am not a huge fan of brown bedding, but this set caught my eye. The little bit of blue makes it not so boring and the suede accent is a great addition.
Do you switch bedding every season? I usually only do in the summer and winter. Let me know in the comments which set you like the most!
